Sun, Surf and Sand Charters is all about easy, fun, on-the-water days run by a local captain who keeps it personal. Think dolphin watching, sandbar trips, gliding through mangroves and outer island tours, sunset cruises… and the phenomenal photos. Designed to be relaxed, friendly, and very Keys. Trips are flexible, so you can go private or shared, and the vibe is warm, safe, and local. No cattle boats. Just relaxed, real Keys time.
The Florida Keys don't follow a script; wind changes, tide change, water conditions change, wildlife moves ... that is why we don't force every group into exactly the same itinerary. I'll look at the conditions and listen to what your group wants to experience, then we'll make the best plan for the day.
Captain Shane
I'm Captain Shane, and one of my favorite things about being on the water is showing people the places and experiences they might never find on their own. Key West is much more than Duval Street.
Beyond the busy parts of the island are the beautiful waters, shallow sandbars, mangroves, islands, wildlife and places where you can simply slow down and enjoy the day .... that is what I want to share with you!
Why I do it? A lot of people come to Key West once. My goal is to give you a reason to come back! And if you leave saying "That was the best day of our vacation" then I've done my job. Michael grew up in Key West and is regularly out on the water a true conch if you will. He started driving boats at a young age and enjoys showing off the natural beauty of these little islands, exploring tidal channels, hidden coves, and relaxing on sugary soft sandbars. For Micheal, it's nature in its purest form.
Captain Bridgette
A spark plug on the water who turns every outing into an adventure. Equal parts seasoned pro and hype machine, she keeps safety tight and vibes high. First to spot dolphins and always ready with a story.
Captain Mace
From the Jersey docks to the Florida Keys turquoise island waters, Captain Mace knows where the real magic is! Hop aboard and let him show you the secret coves and the stories behind each wave while you enjoy all paradise has to offer.
Captain Brian
Born and raised in Ohio, Brian spent most of his life exploring the Great Lakes waterways. USCG licensed Captain and former corporate professional, he now lives on his sailboat in Key West, sharing his love for the ocean with guests as a private charter Captain.

Dustin has been passionate about boating his entire life and is an expert on Key West and the surrounding waters. He's always ready to guide guests a perfect day at sea - weather the means snorkeling the reef, relaxing at a sandbar, or heading offshore for a fishing adventure.
